First you got to go to K-Mart or someplace to get a couple of sheets of posterboard for 67 cents a sheet or something like that. Then get a piece of stiff cardboard backing. I flattened out a grocery box and used it. Then get a balsa wood stick or some plastic which is stiff enough to serve as a handle to hold up your picket sign with. And now the secret ingredient is duct tape. This is gray cloth tape about two inches wide. You can get it in a hardware store. First tape one posterboard to the stiff cardboard backing, then turn it over with the posterboard on the floor. Tape your stick or piece of plastic directly to the stiff cardboard backing. Use plenty of tape so your handle will not come loose. Then tape your second sheet of posterboard over top of that and you have it! Now all you have to do is to write something to protest Scientology on your posterboard. One of Bob Minton's signs said, "Scientology wants your money and your life", another said "Scientology: Hubbard's Third Reich". If you gauge three inches per letter that will be plenty big for people to see. You want the letters big enough so cars going by can read your sign, so try to make the letters as big as the letters on a street sign. As a finishing touch, you can duct tape your handle to strengthen it in case you get hit by a heavy gust of wind, and you can also put an extra layer of duct tape on the edges of your sign to serve as a soft bumper. Also, if you think it is going to rain, you can bring a clear plastic bag with you. Another alternative is just to carry a sign without a stick, or also just to hand out flyers. Picketing is a safe and enjoyable way of exercising your right to free speech. Have a nice day. Joe Xapped German Scientology News http://cisar.org Tax cults. Cults are not "new religious movements." They are companies which engage in the commerce of addictive psychological therapy and teach that enslavement is necessary to one's own personal salvation.
