Scientology organisations in Australasia
You can find official photos of these places on the Church's own Global
Locator of Scientology organisations worldwide.
(I advise you to use it and compare the pictures you see to your local
Church. This is a pretty hilarious pastime in Melbourne
at least. [Until they get a clue and use a realistic photo.])
Click on a city name below to see the outpost in the city in question. You
are encouraged to send me pictures of your local
outpost if I don't have it here (at present I'm missing AOSH ANZO, Japan, New
Zealand and Taiwan, and a few obscure missions and front group offices), or if
you have a nice shot you think should be added. If you should happen to have
pictures of old orgs or missions that have since moved or shut, I would be
most grateful for scans or copies. (Although if an 'office' is actually a
private home - with nothing to mark it as the thing it's supposed to be an
office for - I won't put a picture up.)
- I also have a text listing of addresses and
phone numbers for Australasian orgs, for those who would like them
all in one place and without the pictures.
- Addresses from Scientology
Global Locator, Scientology
Missions International, Dianetics Global
Locator, Hubbard
College of Administration, ABLE and printed Scientology materials.
- Phone numbers and some addresses from Telstra White Pages Online and Yellow Pages Online, the paper
versions of these phone books and printed Scientology materials.
- Founding dates from Scientology
Founding Dates page. Fairly obviously, I'd like more info on most of
these.
- See also Dick Cleek's Mapping
Scientology pages for Australia and New
Zealand and south-east
Asia.
- The CoS claims 3,000 "orgs, missions and groups" worldwide,
and What Is Scientology? 1978 lists several 'Groups' in
Australasia. What makes a 'mission'
and what makes a 'group'?
